AHSA — Police are hunting for a man who shackled a father and his son in their vehicle near Al-Mansoura village. Eastern Province Police spokesman Col. Ziyad Al-Ruqaiti said they received a report that a 30-year-old man and his child had been tied up and trapped in their vehicle near the village on Sunday afternoon. Nearby gas station workers heard the car’s alarm and went to see what was wrong. When they found the boy and his father they called the police. They informed officers that the man who had assaulted the pair was not from the village. Al-Ruqaiti said: “The victims were transported to the hospital for medical care. The boy was not harmed but the father was injured on his forehead. The police are on the case trying to find the culprit.”
