MUMBAI — Gauahar Khan was outraged when a member of the audience slapped her while she was hosting the finale episode of TV reality show India's Raw Star at Film City in Mumbai's suburban Goregaon Sunday. 

 

The man, who attacked Khan, said: "Being a Muslim woman, she should not have worn such a short dress." 

 

The accused, identified as Mohammed Akil Mallic, slapped and touched her inappropriately during the break of the show, but was immediately overpowered by the security guards deployed there, following which the police were notified, NDTV reported. — SG
