Music transcends borders and all man-made concepts. A medium of art, music stirs a conversation with the soul.
Big Bounce Entertainment launched their first concert ‘NOBO’ (No Boundaries) pairing Pakistan’s gifted vocalist Atif Aslam with India’s Arijit Singh in a concert held in Gurgaon.
NOBO as the name suggests, brings artists from different countries and genres on one platform to share the same passion for music.
In association with The Times of India, Atif who is perhaps more popular than new Indian sensation Arijit, was received with an extraordinary response and delivered a memorable performance as a tribute to his Indian fans.
Overwhelmed by the Indian fans, Atif said: “Everybody keeps asking me why I have not come for so many years.” He said looking at the crowd not only made him realize the strength of his fans but made him truly happy.
Both singers have been labelled as Bollywood hit makers and proved their worth. Thousands lined up for hours to watch their favorite musicians share the same stage for the first time.
Arijit is also known to share a similar music style and has performed Atif’s songs during various performances.
Clearing a recent comparison between him and Atif, he said: “We are young people of India and Pakistan. Let’s not find an excuse to fight with each other.
We are the same people divided by some so called politicians all over the world. Let’s become strong. I request. Keep calm and enjoy the music. Music wins over all. Let there be light.”
Both singers stood on the same grounds of Leisure Valley and proved that they and the crowd cared for nothing more than their love for music.
