THE Qatari Businesswomen Association and Interactive Business Network, organizers of the 5th edition of the Qatar International Businesswomen Forum (QIBWF), announced that the 5th Qatar International Businesswomen Forum under the patronage of HH Sheikha Jawaher Bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani, wife of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, The Emir of Qatar, will launch its activities on Dec. 16, 2014 in St- Regis Hotel Doha.
The Forum aims to put forward and discuss key issues that greatly affect a growing number of businesswomen in Qatar and beyond.
These include topics such as women empowerment, entrepreneurship, human development and corporate social responsibility.
“The anticipation for the start of this year’s Forum has been heightened by the participation of many distinguished women leaders of society,” said Aisha Aifardan, Vice-Chairwoman of the Qatari Businesswomen Association.
“This further ensures the high quality of the discussions and enable us to meet the expectations of participants.
We are definitely looking forward to another successful edition of QIBWF.” The Forum will honor Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassem Al Thani, Chairman of the Qatar Businessmen Association; Qatar Shell, Abdul Aziz Al Khalifa – Chief Executive Officer QDB, and Mr. Walid Al Sayed COO of Ooredoo for their efforts and continuous support for the annual event and women’s sector in general.
With participants from 40 countries expected to attend, the keynote speaker is H.E. Mrs. Sare Davutoglu, wife of Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu of Turkey.
The forum will also have many speakers throughout the two-day program including Mr. Walid Al Sayed, COO, Ooredoo – Qatar;.
