The Joyalukkas Jewellery factory is buzzing with excitement as craftsmen are rigorously working on the ‘Dubai Celebration Chain’ —  a historic creation that captures the dynamic & ambitious spirit of Dubai and specifically commemorates the 20th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF 2015). 

 

The final gold chain will be 5km long and approximately weigh 180kgs; is being completely handmade by trained Joyalukkas craftsmen who are taking painstaking effort to create the masterpiece. Joyalukkas has assigned more than 100 specialized craftsmen on the project and all of them are delighted to get an opportunity to work on the historic creation.

The historic piece post completion will be cut and sold as bracelets and chains so that residents and tourists get a chance to own a piece of history. On purchase they will also get the opportunity to win 100 kgs of gold and 40 carat diamonds during the DSF period. The pre-booking offer to consumers of the ‘Dubai Celebration Chain’ is scheduled to commence early next week. The historic chain on completion will be displayed at a public place for certification by the ‘Guinness World Record’ and for the public to view.

The 22-carat record breaking, 5-kilometer long handmade gold chain has been aptly branded as ‘Dubai Celebration Chain’, to compliment the DSF theme “20th Anniversary – A Journey of Celebrations.
