ASIR – The residents of a local village here decided to take matters into their own hands after the muezzin (prayer caller) of their mosque failed to stick to prayer calls, Makkah daily reported. On many occasions, the prayer caller did not show up at all. The residents then bought a device with recorded Azan and fixed it near the microphone of the mosque. The device goes of at the time of each prayer, calling people to pray at the right time.
