The doors of Jeddah Center for Forums & Events were closed on Friday as the Saudi International Motor Show 2014(SIMS) concluded its activities on its 36th edition.

The show organized by Al Harithy Company for Exhibitions (ACE), and inaugurated By Eng. Mohammed Tawfiq Madani, director general of the Transport Department in Makkah .

JEDDAH — The doors of Jeddah Center for Forums & Events were closed on Friday as the Saudi International Motor Show 2014(SIMS) concluded its activities on its 36th edition.



The show organized by Al Harithy Company for Exhibitions (ACE), and inaugurated By Eng. Mohammed Tawfiq Madani, director general of the Transport Department in Makkah .



This year’s edition included the display of a range of exciting activities that include 4 x 4 test drive, drifting, the ALJ traffic safety initiative “Salama Land” to educate children about traffic safety rules and go-karting organized by Nissan and modified cars.



The Saudi International Motor Show 2014 grabbed the attention of auto enthusiasts that are estimated to be more than 100,000 thousand visitors.



The Saudi International Motor Show sponsored by National Commercial Bank (NCB) was full of some very interesting cars and some hot new launches.



It showcased the latest models of passenger cars, station wagons, Sports Utility Vehicles (SUV), pick-up trucks, motorcycles, Special Purpose Vehicles, and 4x4 vehicles.



It also featured a wide selection of automobile financing and insurance services.



Saudi Auto Care exhibition featured the largest gathering of leading auto parts suppliers and auto service providers from all over the world.



Further Saudi Motor Show created a momentum that continued throughout the entire five days with visitors impressed with the caliber of vehicles and exhibitors that included Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, Honda, Isuzu, Kia, BYD, Lifan, Volkswagen, Geely, GM, Higer, Hino and Nor .



Zahoor Siddique, Vice President of Al Harithy Company for Exhibitions (ACE), said that event was bigger and better than last year.



“We have received a fantastic visitor turnout which ascertains the city’s long established motor show,” he said .



“We see a very strong potential for the Motor show to develop in the future and we will continue to improve on the show and add new facets to attract more exhibitors and visitors,” Siddique remarked.
