AL-KHOBAR — Movenpick Beach Resort in Al Khobar, a third-time winner of Saudi Excellence in Tourism Award’s Best Resort in Saudi Arabia, recently held its annual staff party to celebrate the achievements the resort acquired over the year and to show appreciation to all employees who made its operation a significant success.



The exciting affair kicked-off with a welcome note by the Resort Manager, Prashant Sharma. Afterward, an extravagant buffet of delicious nosh and heaps of entertainments including parlour games were participated and enjoyed by everyone.



The Employee of the Month recognition and the announcement of amusing special awards aimed at poking fun as a way of appreciation, were the highlights of the event. 



The Best Smile Award went to Suresh Pun of the Stewarding Department; the Facebook Addict Award for uploading the greatest number of pictures every day went to Jhak Oli of the Food & Beverage Department; the Swiss Army Knife Award for being the most flexible employee was won by Kailash Ale of the Housekeeping Department; and the Extra Mile Award for exerting amazing effort in his work was presented to Aqil Abbasi of Stewarding.



“Our employees work hard every day throughout the year — serving our guests and ensuring their comfort while making sure that the resort’s operations run smoothly and successfully. This event is an opportunity to celebrate our appreciation for all their efforts and unwavering commitment,” said Sharma.



The evening was sealed with giveaways of raffle prizes such as a round-trip ticket from the country of origin plus 10 days paid vacation leave, 2 laptops, 2 LCD TV’s, 10 mobile phones, 10 tablets, 10 luxury perfumes, 10 wrist watches, five cameras and many more.
