JEDDAH — My Care Hala (MCH) and Nestle Milo clinched the titles in the Western Province Cricket Association (WPCA) Championship which is sponsored by Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC).
MCH emerged Premier champion on technical grounds against Dopco Stars and Nestle Milo downed Hala Academy White in the Afternoon Cup final.
In the SCC Afternoon final, Hala Academy White was bowled out for 155. Amir Sajjad top scored with 53 from 40 balls. Osama Amjed contributed 39.
Irfan Alvi claimed 4-15 and Aijaz Butt 2-26. Nestle Milo achieved the target in 110 balls with 9 wickets in hand.
Aijaz Butt, who was later chosen as Man of the Final, hit an unbeaten 100 in 60 balls with 6 sixes and 9 fours.
He added valuable 94 runs in 59 balls with Abdullah Zahid (29) for the opening stand. Imran Sarvar remained unbeaten on 22.
The awarding ceremony took place at the ground soon after the finals. Nadeem Nadwi, CEO of Saudi Cricket Centre was the chief guest.
SCC officials Sadiqul Islam, Kashif Mirza and Rahat Ali, WPCA officers Khurshid Zafar, Ilyas Mustafa, Shafeeq, Zahid Qureshi and Gazali and other distinguished guests also graced the ceremony.

The matches were supervised by Arshad Chohan, Imran, Zafar and Laiq Baig while scoring and commentary were handled by Naushad.
