Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz paid on Wednesday condolences to Jordan’s king over the killing of a pilot at the hands of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), Al Arabiya News Channel reported.

The Saudi leader also condemned the killing of Moaz Al-Kasasbeh, saying the act contradicted Islam and went against humanity.

ISIS supporters released on Tuesday video allegedly depicting the burning alive of Kasasbeh, who was kidnapped by the militant group in Syria’s Raqqa after his plane crashed in December.

Kasasbe’s father has urged the Jordanian government to avenge the killing of his son and called for “painful” air strikes by the US-led coalition against ISIS. — Al Arabiya
