TABUK — Customs officers at Al-Durrah checkpoint west of the Northern Border Province seized 1,006 bullets hidden in two vehicles and a total of 306,000 amphetamine pills. Al-Durrah Custom Control director Adel Asiri said the first vehicle had 600 bullets tucked in its air conditioning vents and the second vehicle had 406 bullets tucked under the driver’s seat. He added the amphetamine pills were seized over a two-month period. Drug smugglers attempted to conceal the pills in various places in their vehicles such as the tires or inside the seats. In some cases, smugglers tried to conceal the pills in their luggage.
