Driver killed, 2 hurt after car hits camel

A driver died and his two passengers injured after the vehicle they were traveling in crashed into a stray camel on King Saud Road in Al-Aqeeq.

BAHA — A driver died and his two passengers injured after the vehicle they were traveling in crashed into a stray camel on King Saud Road in Al-Aqeeq. A source from Baha Red Crescent reported the victim was traveling with his brother and a female relative when a stray camel suddenly appeared in front of him. He hit the camel, causing the vehicle to overturn. The source added that the survivors were taken to Al-Aqeeq Public Hospital. King Saud Road leads to Taif and has no street lights along its way to guide drivers, said the source.
