CISCO has appointed Engineer Mohammed Alabbadi as the new general manager for its business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Alabbadi, who has been acting general manager for the past few months, takes on this role with immediate effect.

 

He is a longstanding Cisco veteran having joined the company in 2000. He started his tenure as a marketing manager, before moving on to spend several years in Cisco’s channel organization. In 2005, Alabbadi joined the Public Sector team where he held various roles including Local Government Territory Manager and Defense Team Lead and Regional Manager. He successfully grew the Education business establishing it as a standalone business unit.  In 2012, he was promoted to Director of the Public Sector team in 2012.

An engineering graduate from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Alabbadi also holds an MBA from the IE Business School, Madrid, Spain. — SG
