MANILA — Angelica Panganiban frowns on illegal downloads and pirated CDs of her movie, “That Thing Called Tadhana.”

She took to Twitter to post screenshots of people who watched the currently-showing movie online or through pirated CDs. These people even tagged Angelica and co-star JM de Guzman in their social media accounts.

She told her followers that piracy can cost celebrities their job. She asked for respect and support for the industry. Some of those who posted screenshots of the movie immediately untagged Angelica after she called out on them. Her performance in “That Thing Called Tadhana” earned Angelica a Best Actress award from the Cinema One Originals Film Festival.  — SG
