Of all the gifts life has to offer, and the blessings that Allah has showered upon us, loving mother is the greatest of them all. She bore you for 9 months and faced every hardship and pain just for you.
She watched her feet swell and even struggled to walk during those times. She suffers sleepless night so that you can sleep in peace. She feels excruciating pain seeing you sick or injured, and does everything to heal your wounds.
Her smile makes you feel good. Even though at times when you make her angry, you are certain that she loves you more than anything in the world.
Mothers who have Facebook and Instagram “like” everything you post and follow you around just to make sure you are safe even on the Internet.
She hugs you to make you comfortable, kisses you even when you don’t do well in exams.
She guides you when you feel lost and points out the best in you. She look for your hidden talent, and tries her best to polish it so that you could become a future doctor, engineer, architect, artist, singer or even president.
She makes you your favorite food, and sometimes makes you eat the meal you don’t like, just so you can grow stronger. She understands you when you don’t know what you are. She talks to your father when you are afraid.
She packs you great lunches for school and all the other kids want you lunch. After working so hard in the day, she finds time and energy to read you a bedtime story too.
She has a magic and knows what you want for your birthday. She is the best problem solver. She keeps your family together. She takes care of your father, your siblings, your grandparents and relatives.
Even when your mom is unwell, she insists on making you breakfast and packing lunch. She plays with you, even when sometimes she don’t know how.
She is your nurse and your chef, your teacher and cleaner, your advisor and your best friend. She is your world, your everything and you just cannot imagine your day without her, let alone life. She deserves all the love of this world. All that you are, or hope to be, you owe it to your mother. How much do you love your mother?
