AVONDALE, Arizona — Kevin Harvick once again showed how dominant he is at Phoenix International Raceway with a pole-winning run Friday at the track he has mastered. He’ll start first Sunday after earning his first pole at Phoenix with a lap of 140.751 mph in his Stewart-Haas Racing Chevrolet. It was yet another milestone for the defending NASCAR champion and his No. 4 team, coming off Harvick’s first career victory at Las Vegas. Daytona 500 winner Joey Logano was second-place qualifier. Jamie McMurray qualified third and thought he might have had a shot at the pole, only to be outdone by Harvick. Matt Kenseth was fourth. — AP
