HAIL — Hail Governor Prince Saud Bin Abdulmohsin Bin Abdulaziz, chairman of the High Commission for the Development of Hail Region and chairman of the Hail Rally Organizing Committee, has honored SABIC for sponsoring the Hail International Rally 2015 as a Diamond Sponsor.



SABIC, represented by Saad Bin Husain, senior manager, Cultural Activities and Support Services, received the honorary plaque at the closing ceremony of the rally in Al-Mughwah on March 22, in the presence of Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saad Bin Abdulaziz, deputy governor of Hail, and Prince Abdullah Bin Khaled Bin Abdullah, assistant chairman of the High Commission for the Development of Hail Region and chairman of the Executive Committee.



Commenting on SABIC’s continued support for the rally, Yousef Abdullah Al-Benyan, acting CEO of SABIC, praised the dedicated efforts of the Hail Governorate, led by Prince Saud.



Al-Benyan valued the continuing success of the Hail Rally since its launch in 2006 as a local event, growing to be a global sporting experience.



Al-Benyan stressed that SABIC is committed to implementing its social responsibility strategy, which involves a number of programs for the benefit of the community.



By supporting the rally, he elaborated, SABIC is contributing to the economic development of Hail, particularly in areas of recreation and tourism.



The Hail Rally is overseen by several local and global bodies such as the Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), Saudi Arabian Motor Federation, the High Commission for Development of Hail Region, and the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities. — SG
