Teenaged boy drowns in oasis

A 14-year-old boy died after he fell and drowned in an oasis in Al-Aqeeq governorate on Saturday.

BAHA — A 14-year-old boy died after he fell and drowned in an oasis in Al-Aqeeq governorate on Saturday. Baha Civil Defense spokesman Col. Jaman Al-Ghamdi said the Civil Defense managed to haul the victim’s body out of the oasis and the Red Crescent reported he was not breathing. Paramedics tried to resuscitate him him before taking him to the hospital but he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
