How is your day when the person who sits right beside you in the classroom is absent? Or how would you feel celebrating your birthday alone? Sounds lonely, right? 

 

The person who sits besides you in the class is your friend. Those boys and girls who come to your party to have fun with you are your friends.

 

The person with whom you share everything is your friend. The person who helps you with your homework at school, or who stands up for you no matter what is also your friend. 

 

And yes, it is a friend in whom you confide all your deep, dark secrets. 

 

 

Friends are the most important thing in life. They are sweet gifts of God.

 

It is difficult to lead life without friends.

 

You need someone to share your happiness and sorrows. Good Friends will always guide you. They will tell you not to cheat in exams and prepare well for them. 

 

According to scientists, a person who has friends is happier as compared to the person who doesn’t. 

 

Don’t be shy and never let go of the opportunity to make good friends. 

 

Friend is a person you trust. You can call your friend in time of need because they promise to be with you through thick and thin. True friendship is loving, sharing, caring and giving. Friends will try to understand you.

 

We must select our friends carefully. There are many who will be good in front of you, but could be leading you to the wrong path. Inform your parents about every friend you make in school or in the neighborhood. They should know about everything you do because parents can also be your friends. 

 

Recall your favorite cartoon series in which Sponge Bob and Patrick are best friends. 

 

They share a bond of friendship deeper than the depths of ocean.

 

They party together, go to golfing, visit different places and do bubble blowing together. 

 

SpongeBob always asks for advice from his best friend Patrick, and Patrick is always concerned about SpongeBob’s well being. 

 

Your best friend could also be you sister or brother like in the cartoon series Phineas and Ferb. 

 

Although they are step brothers, they work on different science projects and share good times together, and they keep each other’s secret. 

 

The Gennie always helps Aladdin in times of need. Winne-the-Pooh and the Piglet are other examples of good friendship.

 

Friendship is no doubt a great blessing and we should appreciate our friends for the colors they bring in our lives.
