BAGHDAD — Officials say a double suicide bomb attack against a Shiite mosque in northeastern Iraq on Friday has killed at least 18 worshipers. A police officer says a suicide car bomber first attacked the Al-Zahraa mosque in the town of Balad Ruz as worshipers were leaving after noon prayers. A second suicide bomber on foot attacked the crowds gathered in the aftermath. At least 30 others were wounded, the official added. Balad Ruz is located 70 km northeast of Baghdad. A medical official confirmed the causality figures. No group has immediately claimed responsibility for the attack. — AP
