Saudi Design Week’s second edition runs from the 6-12 May with an extensive set of conferences during the week in Riyadh. A series of workshops including branding, design and art will be held in Jeddah and Riyadh during the week.  The fair’s program is divided into curated workshops, a design forum and conferences with several other activities including a Pop-Up design store this year. The Kingdom’s capital, Riyadh will host a number of talented local and international artists to discuss, deliberate, and share their love for design aesthetics in various forms. Sound Design is a new branch of design introduced this year. It will feature Saudi EDM producer Omar Basaad and Syrian producer Ayham Homsi in a panel to discuss how creating sound is an intangible yet powerful element of design.



Princess Reema Bint Bandar Al Saud, Sofana Al Dahlan, Dr. Wafa Al Rushaid and Nour Al Dabal will speak about the current status quo and developing design in Saudi institutes.
