BAGHDAD - The death toll from a prison break in Iraq climbed to 50 inmates and 12 police on Saturday, prison and police officials said.



The deaths occurred inside Al-Khalis prison northeast of Baghdad during a riot and on a manhunt for escaped convicts overnight, they said. — Reuters
