• The Apple Watch: The watch will be available in Italy, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland and Taiwan on June 26 from the Apple website, their retail stores and select authorized resellers. The response to Apple Watch has surpassed our expectations in every way, and we are thrilled to bring it to more customers around the world,” said Jeff Williams, Apple’s senior vice president of Operations. “We’re also making great progress with the backlog of Apple Watch orders, and we thank our customers for their patience. All orders placed through May, with the sole exception of Apple Watch 42 mm Space Black Stainless Steel with Space Black Link Bracelet, will ship to customers within two weeks. At that time, we’ll also begin selling some models in our Apple Retail Stores.”
• In case you bought yourself those cool Beats Pill XL speakers, it is time to give them back. Apple announced a voluntary recall of Beats Pill XL speakers, including a refund for customers. As it turns out, the battery in the Beats Pill XL may overheat and pose a fire safety risk.
• Botox, breasts and more. According to a new research in the USA, a number of male teenagers going under the knife for breast reduction in 2014 rose to 6,694, up 14 percent from last year. Back in Saudi Arabia, recent statistics by the Ministry of Health revealed that 14,412 Saudi women had facelift surgeries. Riyadh topped the list with 8,504 surgeries.
• Quanta Compute Plug made its debut during Computex 2015. Microsoft’s new invention is a power plug device with a PC integrated into it which is the size of a phone charger. Microsoft also introduced Foxconn Kangaroo, a mini PC that has an Intel Cherry Trail processor and six hours of battery life. Like the Compute Plug, it can also be linked to a television to instantly transform it into a working PC. Kangaroo also has a fingerprint scanner, supporting Windows Hello, which is the new bio-metric authentication system that Microsoft is launching with Windows 10.
• Google is reportedly planning to begin testing the latest version of its self-driving car around Mountain View and other public roads this summer. About 25 of two-seat self-driving vehicles will be driving around at speeds of 25 miles per hour.
Google revealed that the self-driving cars have been involved in 12 accidents while covering more than 1.7 million miles over the past six years. “We don’t claim that the cars are going to be perfect,” Google co-founder Sergey Brin said. “Our goal is to beat human drivers.”
• According to photos posted by zero2turbo, Abu Dhabi has drafted the Lykan Hypersport: 770-horsepower monster worth $3.4 million, into its police force, right after adding Rolls Royce to its roster.
