JEDDAH — Dr. Hassan Shaibah, dean of Batterjee Medical College, inaugurated the institution’s third Scientific Day in the presence of vice deans and faculty members and with the participation of a number of specialists and pharmaceutical companies.
The event included several activities, workshops and an exhibition that displayed students’ projects, posters and scientific articles.
Dr. Syed Zaki, head of the college’s Pharmacy Program, said the scientific day encourages students to submit summaries of their research as partial fulfillment of the program’s academic requirements.
He said: “This shall encourage students to put what they have learned into practice in the field of scientific research.”
Shaibah said: “Holding such events contributes to the enrichment of the educational and research process.
BMC is keen on constructing students' personalities from all dimensions and produce highly qualified and highly experienced students.”
The pharmacy program includes specialized and highly equipped laboratories that meet the needs of students.
