Jawazat to operate 18 hours a day

Maj. Gen. Khalafallah Al-Twairiqi, director general of the Passport Department (Jawazat) in Makkah Region, said Jawazat personnel are working in shifts to keep the department operating 18 hours a day.

JEDDAH — Maj. Gen. Khalafallah Al-Twairiqi, director general of the Passport Department (Jawazat) in Makkah Region, said Jawazat personnel are working in shifts to keep the department operating 18 hours a day.



This facilitates providing suitable time for citizens and expatriates during the month of Ramadan.



He said Jawazat personnel are working day and night in order to provide the best services at the headquarters of the Jawazat or at the branch offices in malls. Work starts at 10 a.m. and continues until 2 a.m.
