350 orphans receive iftar treat in Jeddah

JEDDAH — Red Sea Mall and Akly Ala Mazagy Group organized the third annual Iftar Abna’a Al-Khair for 350 orphans from various organizations in Jeddah.



Mohammed Alawi, CEO of Red Sea Markets Company, expressed delight at the involvement of local businessmen and businesswomen in the event, which paired families with orphans for a night of entertainment.



“We aim to integrate families with our orphans during the ceremony, to build charity bridges and to hearten and uplift the kids in this holy month of Ramadan. We are also aiming to host 1,000 orphans in one of the upcoming events,” he said.



Mohammed Al-Saadawi, founder of the Akly Ala Mazajy Group, said this year’s ceremony saw the participation of an increasing number of orphans and event sponsors.



Iftar Abna’a Al khair event included many recreational activities and programs that entertained orphans.



For various charitable socities in the Kingdom it is a common practice to  to organize iftar parties for the orphans.
