CAIRO  –  Salwa Abol Naga, the elder sister of Egyptian actor Khaled Abol Naga, passed away Monday evening following a fire in her home, Albawaba.com reported. Cairo’s civil defense received news of a house being on fire in the Al-Zamalik neighborhood, which caused Salwa Abol Naga’s death and injured one other person. The police report stated that the fire originated from the stove, and later spread all over the house.



Unconfirmed reports said that Salwa refused to escape immediately, as she wanted to rescue her pets from her home.



Khaled updated his Facebook page with his sister’s photo and posted an old photo of his sister with the caption “Farewell, beloved sister, the most compassionate person.” – Agencies
