ALKHOBAR — Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Sen. Siraj Ul Haq asked the Pakistani government to grant voting rights to the overseas Pakistanis.  He was speaking to a large Pakistani community at the Eid Milan party in his honor in Dammam arranged by Pakistan forum.



“A huge number of Pakistani people live overseas but they are deprived of their voting rights. Necessary arrangements and facilities should be implemented before the next general elections, such that the overseas Pakistani can exercise their voting rights,” Siraj said.



Prominent community elders including Qazi Mohammad Younis, Qazi Mohammad Saleem, Misbah Baber, Prof. Mohammad Waheed Aslam, Ali Mohsin, Dr.Wajahat Pirzada, Munawar Khan, Dr. Irfan Khan, Maqsood Awan, Riffat Rasheed Abbassi, Massod Abdali, Dr. Zahid Araein and Bashir Ahmed Bhatti were also present on the occasion.
