BAHA — Three main roads were closed on Sunday due to the heavy rain across the governorate. Baha Civil Defense spokesman Maj. Gen. Ali Al-Suwat said the transport directorate closed Qulwa Road, Al-Abnaa Road and Huzna Road due to heavy rain which lasted 45 minutes. The directorate decided to close the roads as it received a number of reports of civilians trapped in their vehicles. Al-Suwat said the Civil Defense is cleaning the roads and ensuring they are free of any debris that could endanger the lives of drivers. Some of the roads are now open, and others will soon reopen once the Civil Defense ensures all potential dangers are cleared.
