Bazm-e-Riaz opens Pakistan chapter to boost service

RIYADH — Bazm-e-Riaz  — a Riyadh based Pakistani literary, social and cultural group — organized an event at the Pakistani capital Islamabad.
Ex-MNA, renowned social figure and Patron-in-Chief of Pakistan Sweet Home for orphans Zamurad Khan and Director at Ministry of Foreign Affairs Abbas Sarwar Qureshi were the chief guests of the occasion.

The event was hosted and conducted ably by the Bazm’s Secretary General Tasadduq Gilani and it was formally started with recitation of some verses of the holy Qur’an by S. A. Bukhari.

Gilani presented the Vision & Mission of Bazm in his welcome speech. “Our Bazm is for all those remarkable people from whom we can learn and for all those who can contribute to build a better and positive society,” he said. “We are keen to strengthen the Pak Saudi brotherly relations.”

On this note Gilani formally announced the formation of Bazm-e-Riaz Pakistan chapter with Kamran Asghar as its coordinator. During his address Abbas Sarwar Qureshi stated that during his tenure at the Pakistan Embassy in Riyadh he witnessed the activities of Bazm e Riaz, adding, “They started their noble mission of promoting positive and progressive image of Pakistan just a few months ago and in a very short span of time they have achieved remarkable milestones.”

“Our mission is to serve Pakistan and we can only achieve it by following the teachings of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah,” he said.

Speaking on the occasion Zamurad Khan expressed his great pleasure on Bazm’s vision and mission. “I am so happy to attend today’s event because it’s a group of such overseas Pakistanis who are truly projecting the larger image of Pakistan and their vision is purely based on positivity and for the betterment of society.”

Zamurad Khan summarized his efforts about the remarkable achievements of Pak Sweet Home project, which has 31 homes across the country in all provinces, providing quality residence, education and all needs for orphans.
He invited Bazm team to visit Pak Sweet Homes.

Kamran Asghar thanked Bazm e Riaz for giving him such a vital role and expressed his enthusiasm to serve the society. “We will do our best to serve our nation and soon he and his team will set a road map to achieve the group’s goals.”

Faizan Akram, Asad Ashraf, Muhammad Pervez and several prominent personalities attended the event.

Meanwhile, Riaz Rathore the president of the Bazm, Chief Coordinator Waqar Wamiq and Executive Members Tanvir Mian, Naqi Hassan, Shafiq Khawaja, Muhammad Emran, Hassan Mehdi and Sarhan Mustafa congratulated Kamran Asghar on the formation of Bazm’s Pakistan Chapter.
