Adventurous British aviatrix, who has embarked on a 13,000-mile solo flight from Britain to Australia in a vintage open cockpit biplane, is in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as part of her long flight adventure. Self-styled ‘Bird in a Biplane’ Tracey Curtis-Taylor, 53, set off in her 1942 Boeing Stearman Spirit of Artemis aircraft from Amman, Jordan, to Jouf Airport in Saudi Arabia last week. Tracey will fly across four cities within Saudi Arabia, making five refueling stops over five days. The cities include Jouf, Hail, Riyadh and Ahsa. Tracey arrived at the Thumamah airport, Riyadh, on Wednesday, and she stayed in the capital for two days. After that she is taking off to Ahsa on at 9:00 a.m. Saturday. — SG
