RIYADH — International Indian Public School (IIPS), Riyadh defeated Middle East International School Al-Kharj as the fourth Lulu Cup Keli Inter-School Football Tournament got off to a rousing start at Nasriya Al-Asima International Stadium here.
The all-important goal was scored by Mohit Kumar.
Seven international Indian schools are participating in this tournament, which is sponsored by Lulu Hyper Market. Only students under 16 years of age are eligible to take part in the event. The other teams in the fray are” International Indian School Riyadh (IISR), Delhi Public School Riyadh (DPS), Yara International School Riyadh, Al-Alia International School Riyadh and Modern International School.
Shakib Kolakkadan, a senior journalist in Riyadh, made the ceremonial kickoff.
The semifinals scheduled for Nov. 20 and and 27. The final will be played on Dec. 4. Hassan, Muhammad Rafeekh and Subhash were the match officials.
