AL RAYA Specialties in partnership with Bosch Thermo-technology held a seminar on “Optimized Energy Solutions” in Jeddah and Riyadh recently in which they highlighted on their commitment to energy conservation and energy efficient solutions.

Dionysis Karvounis from Bosch Germany, Akhtar Sherazi, operations director, Al Raya Specialties and Umair Ishaq, project manager, were the key speakers in the seminar that attracted mainly engineering consultants and stakeholders from the industrial sector and focused on the energy conservation ideas in steam generation, distribution and utilization & water treatment.

”The studies reveal, energy consumption in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is three times more than the world average, therefore, it is necessary for the industrial sector to plan strategies to reduce energy consumption — which are offered by Al Raya Specialties and Bosch,” said Akhtar.

Bosch representatives presented the various latest technologies or trends adopted by them in boiler automation, which would help in energy conservation and provide operational ease for the operators. This optimized energy conservation ideas not only benefit the Kingdom in preserving its resources but also help customers in manufacturing their products with less cost to compete in the market.

The seminar also focused on the energy recovery possibilities in boilers such as waste heat recovery options etc. which would not only benefit their processes for proper utilization of such heat but also reduces the hot gases & pollution leaving to the atmosphere causing global warming.

The invitees and attendees showed keen interest in reducing air pollution and increased water pollution by adopting these new methods to the benefit of not only their companies or surroundings but also for the Kingdom and to the world.

Bosch also appealed to the customers with very old boilers with old technologies to approach Bosch/Al Raya in the Kingdom to get the consultative ideas for retrofitting/upgrading their boilers to the latest trends.
