A number of promotions were highlighted while traveling to Dubai for the 21st Dubai Shopping Festival, an annual event that starts from Jan. 1 and ends on Feb. 1, to attract Saudis and other Gulf citizens.The organisers of the Dubai Shopping festival have lined up a variety of activity to keep the visitors entertained and occupied.
Tourists keen on fashion will enjoy watching fashion shows at different venues and malls. Models will be exhibiting the new fashion lines and styles to provided people with an update on the trends, and the styles of the various brands.
New destinations and extra flights are provided by Emirates Airlines and special hotel offers and packages will be available for travelers, during Dubai Shopping Festival 2016.
During the press conference at the Movenpick Jeddah, Account Manager of Western Province Commercial, Juan Ramos, used the opportunity to say that Emirates airlines would fly a new route on Dec. 14 with Sabiha Gökçen, which is 200Km far from Istanbul, being the new destination.
He also explained in the conference, which was organised by the Emirates Holidays, that on Dec. 14, two new flights would start operating everyday to Jeddah. One of these flights will depart after midnight from Dubai to Jeddah, while the other flight will depart from Jeddah to Dubai.
“Because of the coming security concerns of people, we have forecast that Dubai, is the best destination for locals to travel. Jan. 7 to Jan. 15, is the school break, so two other flights will start, one on Jan 7 and the other one on the 8, departing from Dubai,” he added.
During the event Emirates Holidays announced a series of their hotel packages during Dubai Shopping Festival period. There are packages for three nights paid and one night free as well as, four nights paid and extra free nights in several hotels in Dubai. Most of these offers are full packages and they are highly recommended.
