JEDDAH — The third historic Jeddah Festival Kunna Kida (We were like this), presented the traditional history of Jeddah by showcasing fine arts, skits, games, setting up new museums and cafes, of which some will be open till the next festival.

Visitors to the festival  received many vital information about Historical Jeddah in an infotainment way, while being treated to tastes traditional Hijazi food.

Several alleys and streets in Al Balad focused on highlighting  specific items. For example, the street named the photographers street, which presents photographs  for the Saudis and non-Saudis artists.

The festival is improving over the years with officials taking care to solve previous issues.

Golf carts were available at the festival for visitors to move in the area. Bathrooms were also available at regular spots rather than at the end of the festival area.

Vintage cars of different models were also part of the festival and can be found throughout historic Jeddah.

Tours were also available, either for free or a small fee, that include 32 or more important locations around the old district.

Around 800 government bodies and other organizations took  part in showcasing the traditions and culture of the city.
