The supremacy of Infiniti Q50 among compact luxury sedans in its class bears another record when no less than Consul General Matahiro Yamaguchi of Japan in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia purchased one.
The Infiniti Q50 powered by a 3.7-liter V6 fuel economy engine was delivered to Consulate-General of Japan in Jeddah by Ahmad Saad, the National Sales Manager for Infiniti of Al Ghassan Motors – the authorized dealer for Infiniti in Saudi Arabia. The car was handed over to the General-Counsel accompanied with a complimentary bouquet of flowers using the symbol of the Japanese flag.
The consul general’s passion and enthusiasm for Infiniti cars started with an Infiniti Q45 he purchased a few years ago. Completely enamored by the sophistication and advanced features, the Q50 immediately becomes the darling of car enthusiasts.
In terms of safety, the Infiniti Q50 was crash-test rated by the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) and earned a 5-star overall rating, with four stars in the front crash test and five stars for the side-impact and rollover tests.
Also aiding the Q50's safety cause are features such as the optional Predictive Forward Collision Warning system alerts the driver to risks that lie beyond their field of view, sensing the speed and distance of the vehicle directly ahead and of the one travelling in front of that, giving early warning of a potential accident. Meanwhile Active Lane Control helps Infiniti Q50 remain in the middle of the lane, preventing the driver unintentionally moving from between the marker lines and reducing the need for minor adjustments of the steering wheel while cruising along highways.
Sheikh Ghassan Abdul Rahman Al Sulaiman, Chairman of Al Ghassan Motors, said “we are proud and honored that Consul General Matahiro Yamaguchi opted for Q50 as his personal car.” Al Ghassan Motors has an established and enviable reputation for retailing the most exclusive and luxurious vehicles in the Kingdom.
The Infiniti Q50 is available in two variants; a V6 engine that generates a 328-hp as well as a four cylinder turbocharged engine that delivers a 208-hp. The internal combustion produces brisk acceleration and smooth shifts. The Q50 comes with 17-in alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, dual multimedia displays, Bluetooth and LED headlights.
Sheikh Ghassan added: “Success for Infiniti in the Kingdom depends on our ability to deliver not just our full performance model range, but also the support and service that our customers rightly demand.”
The next level up is the Q50 Premium, which includes a 14-speaker Bose sound system, a moonroof, heated front seats and a HomeLink universal garage door opener.
The Luxury Package is available on all Q50 models which adds Infiniti Navigation System, and BOSE Premium Audio System. A Technology Package for Q50 includes predictive forward-collision warning, intelligent cruise control, lane departure warning and backup collision intervention, among other features. — SG
