PRINCE Sultan Bin Salman, president of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTNH), presented the Best Hotel General Manager in Saudi Arabia for 2015 to Fahd Al-Sayegh, general manager of Jubail InterContinental Hotel,  at the Tourism Excellence Awards function which is sponsored by SCTNH.

After receiving the award, Al-Sayegh said: “It's an honor and privilege to win the award as the best general manager of a hotel. I believe this achievement will inspire young Saudis to shine, achieve expertise and compete with international experts in the hospitality industry.”

Al-Sayegh, considered a pioneer in the hospitality industry, graduated from the University of Denver in the United States in 1984 and worked with InterContinental Hotels Group for 15 years. He was appointed the general manager of InterContinental Taif. He then joined the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh.

Currently, Al-Sayegh serves InterContinental Al-Jubail. During his career, he completed several hospitality-related courses in the United States, the UAE, Bahrain and Britain. He is a member of many hospitality associations.
