JEDDAH — The Jeddah Autism Center, a subsidiary of Al-Faisalya Women Welfare Society, participated at AccessAbilities Expo held recently at Dubai Convention and Exhibition Center.
The event was organized with the support of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, president of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group.
AccessAbilities Expo hosts over 150 regional and global companies with a number of platforms specialized in the field of smart solutions, equipment and technique facilities for the disabled. In addition, the Innovation Platform is a private space for exhibitors to showcase their products, services and smart solutions.
Jeddah Autism Center's participation in the event highlighted the role of the Kingdom and its efforts to support autistic children. It was also an opportunity to meet and communicate with experts in healthcare, education, development, transportation and other fields.
The center showcased its services, including educational and scientific programs and books they use for helping autistic children and their families. It was also an opportunity to exchange experience with participating centers to promote joint cooperation.
AccessAbilities Expo is of international importance as it is held at one of the major cities in the Gulf region. It was a good opportunity for the Jeddah Autism Center to acquaint with the latest technologies and smart solutions that facilitate the lives of the disabled and establish new relationships.
The center is determined to make a change in the lives of autistic children by attending these conventions to keep pace with the latest and most important inventions to help autistic children through educational and rehabilitative programs.
