JEDDAH —The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) will participate in the 2016 Jeddah Economic Forum (JEF 2016) set on March 1-3, 2016. The event will be held under the auspices of the advisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques/Governor of Makkah region, Prince Khalid Alfaisal. The event will be held at Jeddah Hilton Hotel with the participation of more than 80 eminent economic figures.
GACA participation aims to strengthen its presence in the economic forums and other similar events to highlights promising investment opportunities offered by GACA to the private sector through airport corporatization programs, and review of GACA’s successful experiences with corporatization.
GACA will participate in one of the sessions with a working paper titled “The Participation of the Private Sector in the Establishment and Operation of Airports in Saudi Arabia”. The paper will be presented by Dr. Faisal Alsugair, CEO of the Saudi Civil Aviation Holding Company and advisor to the president of GACA.
GACA will also participate in the accompanying exhibition with a pavilion devoted to the new King Abdulaziz International Airport (strategic partner of the event). KAIA pavilion contains a model display of the new KAIA in Jeddah, and provides information and brochures about the different stages of the project. It is expected to attract a large number of visitors who are interested in the project.
