JEDDAH — The alumni association of Jamia Nizamia, “Old Boys Association of Jamia Nizamia (Bazme Tulba-E-Qadeem Wa Muhibban-E-Jamia Nizamia) one of the leading and oldest Islamic universities in Hyderabad, recently organized a function to fete the pilgrims who came to perform Umrah at a local restaurant here recently.
Maulana Syed Shah Nemat ullah Qadri was the chief guest of the evening. He said in his speech, “a pilgrim who has come for Umrah and Ziyarat of Prophet’s (peace be upon him) Mosque is the guest of Allah, and alumni of Jamia Nizamia always welcomes them, it’s a kind and important act of Islamic faith, as Allah commands us to be generous to guests.”
Maulana Hafiz Abdul Subhan also addressed the gathering.
President of the Alumni association Maulana Naveed Afroz presided over the function that commenced with the recitation of some verses of the Holy Qur’an by Maulana Nafiz Mohd Abdul Subhan followed by a Naa’t from Hafiz Mohd Salim Qadri.
Visiting guests pilgrims included Maulana Mohd Irfan Khalil Kamil, Maulana Hafiz Mohd Muzafar Fazil, Hafiz Mohd Ibrahim Qadri, Maulana Alauddin Ansari, Mohd Abdul Aziz Qadri, Mohd Yousuf, Mohd Hamid and Mohd Nadeem.
Naveed Afroz presented shawls and plaques to Maulana Syed Shah Nemat ullah Qadri.
Maulana Hafiz Mohd Abdul Salam compered the program. Many prominent alumnis of Jamia Nizamia and prominent community members attended the function.
The program concluded with a special supplication by Imaduddin Qadri. Vote of thanks delivered by Maulana Abdulsalam.
