JEDDAH — Hundreds of the members of leading forums, societies and organization of Pakistani community here turned out at Fine Grill Restaurant here and expressed their sorrow and offered condolences with Mohammed Iqbal, general manager of Fine Restaurants and Sweet Group, on the sudden death of his younger brother Mohammed Ashfaq, who died in heart attack on Wednesday.

Ashfaq’s funeral prayers took place at Masjid Al-Taawun near Pakistan International School (PISJ) Aziziyah and was laid to rest in Al-Ruwais cemetery Jeddah.

Speaking to Saudi Gazette, Ashfaq’s elder brother Mohammed Iqbal and younger brother Mohammed Asim said that he was a pleasant person in nature and popular among family and friends. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.

One daughter is married and settled in UK while the other is living in Jeddah. He was living in Jeddah for the last 35 years.

Mohammed Ashfaq was manager of the Fine Restaurants and Sweets group. Loved ones described him as an “amazing human being, full of vibrancy and he practiced charity as a virtue. He was one of those person who always placed others before himself.”
