RIYADH — The sixth most luxurious Saudi International Jewelry and watches exhibition ‘Jewelry Salon 2016’ was inaugurated on Monday in Riyadh under the patronage of Prince Sultan Bin Saud Bin Mohammed Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud.

The four-day exhibition is being held in the premises of Al-Faisaliah Hotel, Riyadh.

Haya Sunaidi, Chairwoman, Al-Sunaidi Exhibitions, and head of the committee, said the exhibition targets businesswomen, businessmen and women in search of excellence in an atmosphere of privacy and sophistication. “The exhibition includes skillfully designed jewelry and innovative designs,” she added.

“Sunaidi Expo is committed to excellence and will always be dedicated to maximizing awareness in the most engaging means of marketing”, she remarked.

Prince Sultan Bin Saud Bin Mohammed Al Saud identified the need to establish national industry for gold jewelry, in light of the considerable rise in annual consumption volume up to 55 tons.

With the upcoming launch of National Economic Transformation Program aiming to reduce reliance on oil by encouraging domestic and foreign investment, the Prince asserted that Riyadh with all its activities and conventions and launching of new products and designs during this time every year, cope with world capitals.

Prince Sultan Bin Saud expressed admiration for the astounding displays from 13 Arab and international countries, by 65 exhibitors who showcased the latest designs and rare precious gold works with wide participation of prominent Saudi women, businesswomen and gold and jewelry lovers in Saudi Arabia and large number of interested guests.

He substantiated the need for the expansion and partnerships with leading global jewelry houses to enrich the local industry, expressing his delight at the large participation and diversity of displays reflecting the excellence and sophistication in the industry.

Jewelry Salon 2016 Exhibition also offered an accredited Jewelry Professional, Gemological Institute of America - GIA Diploma Program, which was a five- day program conducted within the same premises by specialized and qualified world finest gemologists. The students will be receiving the Diploma Certificate in 2 months after the successful completion of the course.
