RIYADH — A third suspect involved in the foiled terror bid in Bisha governorate in Asir region last Friday has been arrested, Ministry of Interior spokesman Maj. Gen. Mansour Al-Turki announced here on Sunday.
The terrorist has been identified as Mujab Qazan Al-Otaibi, who was on the wanted list announced on Jan. 31, 2016. He was involved in the firing at worshippers Al-Mustafa mosque in Al-Dalwa village on Nov. 3, 2014, with the help of Suwailim Al-Hadi Suwailim Al-Ruwaili whose arrest was announced on March 13, 2016.
Al-Ruwaili was involved in the operations of the Dhruma terror cell which carried out the blast in the Special Emergency Forces mosque in Asir on Aug. 6, 2015. He was also involved in the killing of Brig. Gen. Kattab Majed Kattab Al-Hammadi Al-Otaibi on April 5, 2016. Two terror suspect killed during the shootout with security forces in Bisha last Friday have also been identified as Abdulaziz Ahmed Muhammad Al-Bakri Al-Shihri, 35, and Yasir Ali Yousef Al-Hoodi, 22.
Al-Shihri was on the wanted list for his connection with the blast at the Special Emergency Forces mosque in Asir on Aug. 6, 2015. He was also involved in the killing of Brig. Gen. Kattab Al-Otaibi.
Al-Hoodi was a specialist in making explosive belts and devices. He was also involved in the killing of Brig. Gen. Kattab Al-Otaibi.
Security forces found arms, ammunition and cash from the possession of the two terrorists.
