CAPE TOWN — Zimbabwe will host India for three One-Day Internationals and three Twenty20 matches in June, the country's cricket board said Tuesday.

All the matches will be played at Harare Sports Club with the ODIs scheduled to be played between June 11-15 and the Twenty20s between June 18-22.

"After finalizing all the formalities with the Board of Control for Cricket in India, we are pleased to announce the incoming tour scheduled for this June," Zimbabwe Cricket managing director Wilfred Mukondiwa said in a statement.

India has been regular travellers to Zimbabwe in recent seasons with three previous tours since 2010, including last year, all featuring limited-overs matches.

Cook in the runs again

England captain Alastair Cook maintained his excellent form in the run-up to the Test series against Sri Lanka with a third County Championship hundred of the season Monday.

Cook's unbeaten 130 and Tom's Westley's innings of 125 helped Second Division leaders Essex to a total of 335 for two at stump son the second day away to Worcestershire at New Road.

Left-handed opener Cook's latest hundred came off 206 balls, including a six and 15 fours.

The 31-year-old's innings followed scores of 105 against Gloucestershire and 127 not out against Sussex.

This match is set to be Cook's final first-class appearance before he returns to England duty for the first of a three-Test home series with Sri Lanka, starting at Yorkshire's Headingley headquarters in Leeds on May 19.

Pant lifts Delhi over Gujarat

In Rajkot, Rishab Pant struck a half century as Delhi Daredevils thrashed table topper Gujarat Lions by eight wickets in the IPL to jump to second spot Tuesday.

Eighteen-year-old Pant, playing in only his third IPL match, stole the limelight as he hit a 40-ball 69 with the help of nine fours and two sixes as Delhi chased down the target of 150 with 16 balls to spare.

Uttarakhand boy Pant stitched 115 runs for the opening wicket with Quinton de Kock (46) and that took the game away from the Lions who lost their second consecutive match and third in nine games.

With the win, their fifth in seven matches, the Daredevils now have 10 points to occupy the second spot behind the Lions who have 12 points from nine matches.

Brief scores: Delhi Daredevils 150 for 2 (Pant 69, de Kock 46) beat Gujarat Lions 149 for 7 (Karthik 53, Jadeja 36*; Nadeem 2-23) by eight wickets.
