JEDDAH — Adnan Mandoura, Secretary General of JCCI, has officially inaugurated on Monday night Food, Hotel and Hospitality Arabia Exhibition 2016 at the Jeddah Centre for Events and Forums.

Running until May 12, the 21st edition of food, hotel and hospitality Arabia Exhibition has more than 100 companies from 12 countries taking part in the trade show.

With thousands of food and beverage products and services introduced every year, the food, hotel and hospitality Arabia Exhibition presents an opportunity to recognize and reward best-in-class excellence and innovation across the region’s food and hospitality industry.

The annual trade show, recognized as a landmark food and hospitality event in Saudi Arabia, will showcase the industry’s continuous development and expansion through a comprehensive networking and entertainment platform.

Commenting on the importance of food, hotel and hospitality Arabia Exhibition, the Secretary General of JCCI affirmed the importance of the exhibitions and conferences sector in promoting the commercial activities in the Kingdom and praised its contributions to the national economy.
“The expo has grown over the years and this year we have more than 100 local, regional and international retailers and exhibitors to demonstrate the growth,” said Zahoor Siddique, Vice President of Al Harithy Company for Exhibitions (ACE).

He noted that the exhibition aims to deliver more tastes, more trends and more trade.

In keeping with the event tradition, and driven by the enthusiastic response from participants and visitors, Food, Hotel and Hospitality Arabia Exhibition 2016 will be treating its audience to entertaining and educational features such as cuisine from different countries of the world at the Jeddah Open Cooking Championship having the participation of local and international chefs and adjudicated by a panel of renowned judges. Coupled with this will be the feature of fine art of table display competition at the Art de Table event.
