RIYADH — Under the auspices of Labor and Social Development Minister Dr. Mufarrej Al-Haqbani, the 7th Social Dialogue Forum will kick off in Riyadh on Wednesday.

The two-day forum, to be held under the title of “Labor and Society: Provision of Decent Jobs for All”, will receive representatives of both employers and workers, in addition to a host of experts and consultants in the field.

The forum is in sync with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 focusing on the utmost realization of Saudi citizens' potentials and capabilities.

Meanwhile, the new plan is a bid to allow young Saudi men and women to have a wide-range of opportunities and acquire necessary skills, which empower them to achieve their objectives.

With agenda set, the forum will discuss the role of laws and policies that aim at preparing a suitable work environment in the private sector to attract the Saudi workforce and achieve employee retention. The participants will lay out solutions relating to the enhancement of proper workplace and the quality of work for everyone.

The sessions will target the executive side of employment support programs that are handled by government entities and private establishments alike. The impact of Saudization on society will be reviewed in its economic and social aspects in the light of the future of development and suitability of programs initiated by the public sector for supporting employment in the country. — SG
