RIYADH — Jadwa Investment, a leading Saudi Arabian investment management and advisory firm, recently received new recognition for its investment performance with the selection of its Saudi Equity Fund as the “Best Saudi Equity Fund” and “Best Shariah Compliant Equity Fund” at the MENA Fund Manager Performance Awards. The announcement follows the recognition of Jadwa Investment as “Private Equity Firm of the Year in Saudi Arabia” by Finance Monthly.
Tariq Al-Sudairy, Managing Director and CEO of Jadwa Investment, said: “Jadwa Investment is proud to be the only Saudi equity fund manager in the Kingdom to deliver positive returns to clients in 2015 despite a 15% market decline. These awards recognize our pursuit of excellence and our commitment to providing differentiated quality for our clients, and we look forward to scaling newer heights in the coming years.”
Zaheeruddin Khalid, Jadwa’s CIO and Head of Asset Management, attributed the achievement to the quality of Jadwa’s team and the robustness of its investment process. He said: “We focus on delivering long-term superior returns to our investors through a conviction-based approach to investing that is backed by strong fundamental analysis. This has resulted in our Saudi Equity Fund outperforming the market by an average of 9.9% per annum since its launch in June 2007.”
The MENA Fund Manager Performance Awards recognize and reward investment managers that have demonstrated exceptional client service and innovative product development over the past 12 months. Winners are selected by a panel of institutional, private, and industry experts, as well as representatives of the MENA Fund Manager.
