JEDDAH — To tame the passage of time and “seize luck at one’s fingertips,” the Maison inaugurated the Charms collection in 2008. Today, this restrained and feminine watch glitters in two jeweled versions.

Evoking the charms created by Van Cleef & Arpels from the 1920s onward, a new charm embellishes its rounded form. A tassel dances around the case, casting its precious light on the days and nights.

In keeping with the white jewelry created by Van Cleef & Arpels since its foundation, these two new Sweet Charms Pavee watches reveal diamonds in their varied facets.

Exceptionally white — with their DEF rating — and graded VVS for clarity, the stones unveil their sparkle in a succession of cuts and diameters.
The dial’s serti neige style setting is complemented on the bezel by a row of baguettes, themselves accentuated by round diamonds.

With its moving tassel of baguette-cut diamonds, the charm magnifies the miniature proportions of the case.

With a diameter of 21 mm compared to between 25 mm and 38 mm up to now, it imbues the Charms collection with unique delicacy.

Several bracelets complete this feminine tableau: The first — in brushed canvas — soberly accentuates the case, while the second jewelry version illuminates the wrist in a wave of light.

Prolonging the halo effect of the dial, the stones are arranged in varied cuts to form a dazzling architecture of diamonds. This glittering, graphic piece instills the evening watch with a new air of modernity.
