Ahmed Masoud, president of Al-Ittihad sports club in Jeddah, passed away early Thursday in Turkey. He was with his team which was camping in Turkey for training. Within its preparations for the Saudi league season, the club played some friendly matches there. Masoud had recently taken over the presidency for the second time. — SG
