Mets 3, Twins 2: Gabriel Ynoa pitched 4-2/3 effective innings and T.J. Rivera homered as New York completed a three-game sweep of Minnesota.

Ynoa allowed one run and four hits while throwing 76 pitches. He struck out eight, equaling a season-high set June 23 at Reno for Triple-A Las Vegas.

The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for the Pirates.

Braves 6, Nationals 2: Right-hander Matt Wisler continued his late-season resurgence, throwing 5-2/3 strong innings in Atlanta’s rain-shortened win over Washington.
